Satisfaction - It is all about content

Satisfaction is not about how much you are earning more than your peers. But it is all about how content you are, with your current earnings

People always complain about how much their peers are earning more than them. Worry about the same and try to earn more than them. They feel satisfied if they earn more than some one whom he has targeted earlier. But that satisfaction is only for a short period of time. Once they come across another peer who is earning more than his current salary, then again they start to feel low and run towards earning more.

At any point of time there will be always some one who earns more than you. It is applicable for Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Jeff Bezos etc. So if you have this parameter then you will never get satisfied in your life.

So the actual satisfaction is not how you are earning more than you peers, it is all about how content you are with your current earnings.
